The son of a farmer turned financial advisor who lives by the motto “Work works when nothing else works,” he comes from a part of the industry that considers working 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. a half day.
Scott joined Raymond James in 2013, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He previously served as a financial advisor and branch manager for Edward Jones and as regional marketing director for The Hartford.
His work in the community, centers on the Alzheimer’s Association, whose mission is to eliminate the disease and promote brain health. He has helped raise more than $250,000 for the association as chairman of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Born in Nebraska and raised in Iowa, Scott currently lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Amber, and their two kids, Flynn and Elodie. His hobbies include photography, graphic design, golf, boxing and reading.
